Phoenix Suns

The 2017-2018 season marks the 50th anniversary of the Phoenix Suns as an NBA franchise. We made a campaign to celebrate and bring awareness to this achievement. Some of the work includes a 50th anniversary logo, the Sole of PHX guerrilla campaign with custom oversized hightop sneakers painted by local Valley artists, and a 3-room exhibit at the Arizona State Capitol Museum.

PHOENIX SUNS 50TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO
SOLE OF PHX CAMPAIGN

Basketball is a sport that thrives on culture, artistry, and self-expression both on and off the court. Working with a broad collection of local artists to bring this project to life, the Sole of PHX exhibition is a fun and interactive way to take the Suns 50th anniversary festivities out of the arena and into the community. Fisher placed these painted high-top sneakers all around the Valley throughout the 2017-18 Phoenix Suns season. Using the Suns Mobile App, fans could scan each shoe’s plaque to view exclusive content and win prizes including courtside Phoenix Suns tickets.

ARIZONA STATE CAPITOL MUSEUM EXHIBIT

The three-room exhibit at the Arizona State Capitol Museum is a tribute to the Phoenix Suns in their 50th anniversary season. The exhibit features a timeline of the Phoenix Suns franchise, jerseys from throughout their 50 years, the original Suns Gorilla t-shirt cannon, and more fun memorabilia and information.
